When Fall rolls around, I always like to have a look at the flurry of upcoming releases and plan out which ones interest me the most. Mario Maker was on my list and it is terrific. MGS V was also on the list, but I just can't support Konami these days after the revelations about their abandonment of the console market and how they treat their employees. I may buy it used one day, but no time soon. Anyway, here are my picks for the Fall/Holiday season:
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax (PS3, Vita)-Last few obscure 2-D fighters on the PS3 have been really good, so I am looking forward to this one.
Dragon Quest Heroes (PS4) - October 13-Kind of intrigued by this...if my PS4 holds up. It stared beeping like crazy tonight for no reason.
Yoshi's Woolly World (Wii U) - October 16-Looks great. May even buy the amiibo.
Yo-Kai Watch (3DS) - November 6-Seems to be really popular in Japan. I have no idea what it is about, but I may give it try simply because I haven't really been playing my 3DS a lot of late.
Rodea The Sky Soldier (Wii U, 3DS) - November 10-Looks like this could be a fairly rare game, as there are not that many 3rd party JRPGs with a physical release on the system.
Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U) - December 4-I never really had the chance to get into the first one, but I may just pick it up in the spirit of having new games to play on the Wii U.
Just Cause 3 (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - December 1-The second game was fun, so I will pick this up eventually, just not sure if I'll get it on the PC or Xbox One. I may just grab it to have something to play on the Xbox, as it has gathered dust since the release of Rare Replay.
Fall Out 4 didn't make the list because I have always played Fall Out on PC and I may hold off on Fall Out 4 until after I build a new PC.
